A little over a week ago we got some serious snow. I knew that it was supposed to snow, but I didn't think it would snow that much. The kids were thrilled. We didn't get a lot of snow last year, so they were so excited to get out and play in it. They woke up Friday morning and wanted to go right out. I told them that they had to wait until after school. They were worried that it would be gone by then; luckily it wasn't. They spent a long time out playing, and had a blast. Drew had so much fun. I was surprised at how long she stayed out. When they were done they came in to warm up and have some hot chocolate. I think that sometimes they go out and play just so they can have hot chocolate after.
