Valentine's and February Birthdays

I know it is really late, but I wanted to post about Valentine's Day and my two girls birthdays. The kids get to decorate boxes for their classes on Valentine's day and my kids love it. They spend weeks before planning out what they are going to make. It's a pain for me, but to see how excited they get makes it worth it. Here is what we came up with this year.


T was easy. I talked her into this cute boat. It was super easy to make, and she had fun decorating it.


His on the other hand was a pain. It was messy and nearly drove me crazy, but the finally product was awesome. S is so into basketball right now, so this was the perfect box.



Happy 1st Birthday to you!!

I can't believe that a year has passed already. Where did the year go? We are so lucky to have D as part of our family. She is so much fun. She loves her brother and sisters, and is a pretty easy-going kid. She is into everything and is really loud (I think she knows that that is the only way to get attention-it's tough being the 4th). Her smile makes everyone around her happy. We love you!!

She was my only kid that dug right in to her cake. She was so excited to have something that good all to herself. It was a cute heart cake with yummy pink frosting. It didn't take her long to make a mess.

One wasn't enough.


C's birthday was also in February. She turned 4. She is getting so big. She has a fun personality with a lot of attitude. My friend summed it up best when she said "She walks with a purpose." She is very funny and keeps up laughing. She is a good big sister, and loves to do anything with her older sister.

For her birthday cake she wanted a Strawberry Shortcake cake. My friend came and helped me make this for her. It was a lot of fun to do, and C loved it.
