My kids get to have a friend party every other year, and this year S was excited to be able to have his. He decided that he wanted to have a "Minute to Win It" party. It turned out to be a lot of fun. It was fun to sit down with him and figure out what games we would play. (If it would have been up to him, we would have played them all.) He invited some of his buddies over and we did dinner and played the games. It was so much fun to watch these boys play these games. He has some great friends. After they were done, they ate ice cream and cupcakes, and messed around in the backyard. It turned out to be a fun party.
Here is S trying to get cotton balls from one side to a bowl on the other.
They tried to get the skittles to stay on the straws. A couple of kids got two or three to stay on. This was a hard one.
Here is the crew. What a bunch of good looking kids!
Every year I let my kids pick out what kind of cake they want me to make them. I'm not the best at doing this, but they still think they are cool, and that's all that matters. This year S wanted a half pipe. This is my best attempt. He loved it.
With fall comes soccer and new for us this year football. S wanted to try flag football this year. He had a blast. He got on a great team who had a great coach. He learned a lot, and wants to do it again next year.
S is the little guy in light blue.
T played soccer again and loved it. She is really fast and isn't afraid to get into the mix. She moved up to a bigger field this year, which made it a lot more fun for the kids, and a lot more fun for us to watch.
What a cutie!
C loves going to the games. She gets to play with her friends, and sit on the blanket and eat snacks.
When the kids went off track, we decided to go to the zoo. C didn't even know what that was. It's been a while since we have been. It was fun. The zoo here is not much, but the kids love to see the animals, and ride the train. It's a fun place to take them every few years.
