Today was the last day of school for my kids. It was a bit of an emotional day for me. As I was eating lunch with Camryn before school, I realized that it was our last lunch together before 1st grade. I got really sad, and told her that I was going to miss my little buddy. She smiled at me and said "Don't worry, you still have Drew." I'm glad that it is not going to be as hard on her as it is on me. It was also emotional because it was my kids last day at this elementary with their friends. We will be going to a new school next year. We are excited for what our new adventure will bring, but also sad to leave so many good friends. We had an amazing year. I don't know if I could have asked for better teachers for any of my kids. They all loved their teachers, and learned so much. At least I can say that we ended on a good note.
