Family Christmas Party

Last weekend we had our family Christmas party.  It is always fun to get together with everyone, eat good food, and catch up.  We had a lot of fun this year.  We had a visit from Santa, played some fun games, and the kids exchanged presents.

Drew loved Santa this year.  We saw him a few times, and every time she was really excited to jump up on his lap and tell him what she wanted.  She waited her turn, and as soon as her name was called, she jumped up and ran to sit on his lap.  It was great.  Every time she was asked what she wanted, she told him a Lalaloopsy.

Cam was great this year too.  In the past she did not like getting too close to Santa, but this year she wanted to make sure he knew she wanted.  Lip gloss, earrings, a bracelet, a necklace, a ring....basically anything to accessorize with.  Such a girl. (Not my child).

Tay asked for a fortune cookie maker.

Sky asked for some basketball socks.  They are only $15 a pair.

The kids loved singing songs with Santa.

A family shot with Santa.

Playing some games.  This one you had to get the cotton ball on your nose which had some vaseline on it.  It was great to watch.

We did the face the cookie game.

Uncle Bob had a unique style in trying to get the cookie into his mouth.

We did the nut stacker with candy canes.

And this one turned into the boys seeing how tall they could build the tower.  They got it all the way to the ceiling.

It was a fun night with family.  We are lucky to have such great family and love spending time with them.  We can't wait to get together again.
