One of the days we took the kids to play on the rocks and to hike "The Crack". My kids love this place, and love climbing through the slot. My sister wasn't so sure, but she did great. It's funny to watch us grown-ups barely squeeze through, and then to see the kids go through with such ease.
Climbing through the crack.
Hanging out on top of the rocks.
T and D hanging with their cute cousin.
All of my kids wanted to hang on this little ledge. I don't know why they think it is so fun, but they do. We had a contest to see who could hang the longest. T and I held on for a minute. Dad and S held on for 30 seconds. Girls Rock!!
D thought it was so funny.
One night we decorated Easter eggs. This is not my most favorite thing, but the kids love it.
We went swimming lots too. It was so nice to feel the sun and to be hot.
C and dad taking a nap by the pool.
T taking a nap too. (I think she is faking it in this picture.)
We also played some tennis. This is the one thing that T wanted to do while we were there. She loves to play tennis. I took all the girls down to play one night. While T and I hit balls, the other two pushed the ball retriever around and had a blast.
Such a cutie!
We also did a hunt for the kids. They look forward to this each year. We had a ton of eggs everywhere. Most of them were easy since we have mostly small kids, but we did make a few hard. Plus the grass was so long, we might have left a few there. Maybe some lucky kid will find it someday.
Getting ready to start the hunt.
And they're off.
D was fun to watch hunt. She was excited for every egg she found.
One thing that I love about going to St. George is that we get to see my grandparents. They have had a rough few years, and can't make it up to see us too often, so we love to head down there and see them. I feel very lucky that my kids know them so well, and will have a lot of fun memories with them. We love to play cards and other games with them. Especially my two oldest. They love playing games with all of us.
Here is a shot of C with her Great Grandpa.
One last picture of T and D sporting some new glasses. Love them!
