Rain Gutter Regatta

This year for scouts instead of doing the pine wood derby, they did the Rain Gutter Regatta. Instead of building a car, you build a sailboat. They bring in rain gutters and fill them with water. The boys then have to blow their boats from one end to the other with a straw. It was funny watching these boys blowing their boats. S was super excited to try this out. He was really determined to win this year, but he didn't. He is so competitive. You should of seen some of the faces he pulled after he didn't do so well. It was still a fun night, and fun to see all the boat designs the boys (or should I say dad's) came up with.

S getting ready to start one of his races. He really wanted to do a Yankee boat. I told him wasn't a good idea (since I'm a Red Sox fan), but he didn't listen to me.

Blowing hard.

After the race.
