The O'Farrell Fam: Back to School :(

I cannot believe that they are already going back to school. This is probably the only reason that I don't like year round school. I love having the breaks throughout the year, so I guess it's worth it. It is just really hard sending them back so soon. It is way to light when they go to bed.

They were both really excited for this year. S still won't admit how much he likes school, but he loves it, and he is very smart. Last year his class voted him the smartest in his class. We have 10-15 kids in our neighborhood that are all on A track with us starting 4th grade this year, guess how many ended up with S--3. He was a little bummed that his two buddies are in the other class, but he got the teacher he really wanted, so he didn't care too much. His teacher this year is a huge Jazz fan, so they should get along great.

I was a little nervous for T since last year we had a rough few months to begin with, but she was great. She was very bummed that she didn't have any of her friends that she plays with in her class, but she still was excited. She heard her teacher was really nice so she was excited to meet her. She came home from school really happy and loved her teacher. Hopefully it will be a great year.

Luckily I got these pictures before school. Right when school got out there was a huge rain/hail storm. It couldn't have been timed more perfect. The kids got in the car soaked. They looked like they had just gotten out of the shower. Luckily they thought it was great!
