School's out for Summer

I can't believe that you are finished with 1st grade. Where have the past 7 years of our lives gone? You have grown up way too quick and I know that the next few years will be the same. You have learned so much this year and have really enjoyed school (even though you won't admit it). You had a great teacher, and are really going to miss her. It has been fun watching you grow and learn over the years. Each year just keeps getting better. I'm a lucky mom to have three great kids.

Rain, Rain go away...

This week it has rained every single day. It has been nice to have cooler weather, especially since I know what is coming soon enough, but the constant rain has really put a damper on things. Let's just say I'm glad I don't live somewhere where it rains constantly. I could possibly go insane. Since it has only let up for a few minutes at a time, the kids have spent a lot of time inside. At least they are creative. One morning I came out of my bedroom and found the girls had made a house out of books. They played in there for hours. They had it all set up with rooms and everything. It was great!! Oh to be a kid again. Those were the best times. I love what good friends these two are.
