This past weekend we went camping for a night up to Pineview with some friends. Since we only were going for one night, and we wanted to take our boat, we decided to tent it. The kids were so excited to sleep in a tent. We don't do much tenting anymore since we have the trailer; (which is fine by me); but we figured for one night it would be fun. And it was!! When we got there the kids were excited to help set up the tent. Drew told us she wanted to take a nap because she was so excited. Once we got all set up we cooked our tin foil dinners and hung out for the night. The boys woke up the early the next morning to ski on the water while it was "glass". Crazy boys. After breakfast we headed to the beach so the kids could play and take turns in the boat. It was a really fun day, and we look forward to doing it again next year.

This is a good example of what happens when the moms say no to something and then go make lunch for everyone. I don't know how the boys talked the dads into this, but they did, and they had so much fun doing it. It makes me so nervous, but I guess that is why we have both moms and dads. The moms to worry, and the dads to let the kids be dangerous.

The dads also thought this was a good idea. The kids again had so much fun, but I know that this is all they are going to want to do when we are out now.
