Mother-Daughter Activity

Taylor was so excited to turn 8, not only to be baptized, but also so she could start activity days.  This is a program for girls who are 8-11.  They meet twice a month and do different activities.  A few of her friends have been going since October, so Tay could hardly wait to start going.  It turned out that on her birthday they were having a mother-daughter activity.  She was so excited to go, and so was I.  It was a cake decorating activity.  We made a cake at home and took it to the church to decorate it.  It was a lot of fun, and Taylor got to make a birthday cake for herself.

Working hard on the cake.

 The finished product, so cute.

I think they ate a little too much sugar and got a little goofy by the end.

Doesn't this look so yummy?

After we got home, we had cake and ice cream with the family.  Drew loved singing happy birthday to her.  It was a fun day.
