Playing in the Snow!!

The other day we finally got some snow for the kids to play in. They have been waiting and waiting. Too bad it didn't last long. It warmed up after it snowed and within a day or so, it was all gone. At least they enjoyed it while it was here. Hopefully it won't be too long before the next storm so they can go build something else. Once they saw the snow in the morning, they were up and out playing in it, and stayed out there for several hours. They had such a great time. We had planned on making a huge snowman, but the rolls got to big and heavy, and we couldn't lift them on top of each other. So we decided to make a snow fort instead. They worked really hard on it. They rolled the snow balls all over the yard, and even went into the back. It was a fun Saturday.

S making an angel.

D even went for a little bit. She didn't stay out too long. She kept trying to take off her gloves and coat.

C getting in on the action.

A picture of all of them hard at work.

Hanging out on the fort after it was done. Notice how none of them have their coats on anymore. It really warmed up, and was hot rolling all those big snow balls.

I love this picture. What kind of parent are you? Kids without coats :)
