I'm am so sad that the kids only have one week left before school starts. I know a lot of parents are so excited to get their kids back in school, but I truly love having them out. The summer has gone by way too fast. I know that we don't have that long of a summer because of year round school, but it still flew by. We managed to keep really busy too. I just wish it was a bit longer. I'm not going to complain though, especially the end of September and the first of October when we have our first three weeks off. I do like the year round schedule. I love having breaks several times during the year. It makes it a lot easier to plan trips around.
I can't believe that I will have two going to school this year. S will be going into 2nd grade, and T will be starting Kindergarten. Is that crazy or what!! She is so excited to start, I don't know that she fully knows what it is all about, but she will love it. She has a great teacher too which makes a huge difference. C is not going to be happy to lose her playmate, luckily she is going in the afternoon so they can still play in the morning. It will be crazy to have only one at home, hopefully she will take a nap most days. Unfortunately she is starting to grow out of them. Each child seems to grow out of them quicker. I guess it's kind of hard to stick with them when you're going to so many places during the day. It will be nice to spend some one on one time with her. Being the third kid, you don't quite get the attention that the first did. So I am looking forward to that!!
We'll just have to enjoy this last week!!
